Description
The course Tissue Technology covers all technical and mechanical skills which are necessary for the production of a shaft tissue. The weaving of the patterns takes place in the course of the lessons on site. In addition, the designing and technical presentation of tissues are mediated.
In the development of personal projects, depending on the objectives and requirements, all available means can be used both, specifically and or other perspectives can be explored experimentally in order to gain new insights and thereby achieve divergent results.
In addition to the manual activity of weaving, a digital tissue simulation (Arahne) is also offered.
Examination Modalities
The entire work process is evaluated from the aim and conception, to use the technical and material-specific possibilities beyond creativity for themselves, to the finalised project.
