This course ('Applied mechanics for Industrial Design') deals with the basic physical nature, its possible devices and restrictions in order to apply these modes of operation onto/within student projects. 

Developing, designing and refining a small mechanical structure (with me as 'practical consultant') over the entire semester. We will focus on handdrawing as well as building small models.

For this course we do offer a (older, but still valid) script in german. But since this introduction into basic physics is only a very small part, non-german-speaking students are highly welcome and won't face any inconvenience.
