Webcoding: Let’s Build a Personal Website! is a course about making your unique mark on the web, whether that be a website about fixing bikes to a site dedicated to your favourite character. In this case, a Personal Website is place to show the internet/world who you are. By carving this little space on the net, you and the people who visit are free from algorithms.

This course goes over some basic Web Development such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript, some best practices in terms of User Experience, User Interface, and Accessibility. By the end of this course you will:

• An Understanding on how a Website is designed with Best Practices in mind

• Creating your own Brand (or an extension of it)

• Have a completed Personal Website!

No Prerequisites! This course is beginner-friendly. If you have never touched code in your life, this is not only a great peek into the world of Web Development, but you also get a nice little project in the end!

60% Attendance, 20% Active Participation, 20% Project Work

While the course is open to everyone, priority will be given to those of the Digital Art course.
