Description
Together we will explore artistic research methods through the lenses of the arts, experimental design, and activism. We start by reflecting on our personal histories of making and continue to build a research strategy library. Through hands-on exploration of material culture and social practices, we will treat the familiar as a site for questioning, inspiration, and artistic experimentation.

• Introduction: The debate on research in the arts
• How do we look at a work of art?
• Dissecting the mechanics of an art piece
• The starting phase of a project and how the medium creates meaning
• The high art of observing everyday life and how things create wonders• How do limitations extract new narratives?
