Beschreibung

Coding as a tool in data driven projects (while using AI)

This class aims to teach students the basics of coding with Python and how to use it as a tool in data driven projects and the use of AI in coding.

The course is designed for beginners with little or no programming experience. It requires only an interest in using code in a project or the wish to know more about what it means to code; no prior knowledge is necessary. The course is not suitable for those looking to deepen their programming skills.

Students will also evaluate the use of AI tools for coding.

The follow-up to this course is the summer semester course 2026S/S05122 which builds on this knowledge and introduces data analysis concepts to enable students to analyze and visualize data in scientific or artistic projects.

Prüfungsmodalitäten

Evaluation of project-based work done during the semester.
