Beschreibung

In this course, we will look at the foundations of digital art and the strategies employed in its creation, dissemination, and presentation. The class will primarily be comprised of lectures, in-class discussions and assignments, and (possible) excursions. Readings will be provided and a full list will be presented on the first day of class. Some preparation before the first class is needed, please keep an eye on your Angewandte email for more details.

Expect that you will be required to:

- create artistic work

- effectively communicate the intentions and aims of your work created for this class

- read and apply the texts supplied in class

Attendance, if possible, is highly recommended. Participation in the class can be achieved in a number of ways, including attendance, communication with the tutor, communication with your peers, in-person and virtual presentation methods, and more. 

Prüfungsmodalitäten

The course will be evaluated by participation*, participation in the course evaluation, and a final presentation of your work. More details will be provided in-class.
