In this seminar, we tackle contemporary subjects with help from elementary, mathematical, but also geometrical and physical insights.

Students are encouraged to develop an interconnected way of thinking based on the natural sciences. The practice allows students to devote themselves to a specifically chosen subject while receiving scientific, individual mentoring.

Continuous assessment in the form of discussions; a final assignment relating to a special (self-chosen) topic will be particularly important in terms of the grade.

This is an elective course that can be taken by students of all fields of study (and other universities, too).

The course will be held at the institute by appointment.
