In this course, we will learn how to work with wood using the tools and (hand) machines available in the woodworking workshop at Paulusplatz. We will take our time, do exercises, and I will prepare input, e.g. on surface treatment of wood. The aim of the course is to gain confidence in working independently with wood and to get to know the small workshop. The aim is explicitly to offer an artistic course for beginners. No prior knowledge is required ;-)
- I will give an introduction to the workshop, tools and machines in several blocks at the beginning of the semester. Attendance at these sessions is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course.
+ Then you will plan, discuss, draw and make your own small projects from/in/with wood.

- Regular attendance!

- Your own small artistic project in wood.

- All participants must be registered in the database.

- PLEASE: Do not register if you are not SURE that you have time for the course!

- The dates between 18 March and 22 April are for an introduction to the workshop and to familiarise yourself with the machines/tools - Participation in these dates is mandatory.

- Further requirement: Regular participation in the course!
