In cooperation with the ÆSR Lab of the Angewandte (https://aesr-lab.uni-ak.ac.at/labs), the seminar Sounding Research will take place on Thursday, October 16 and Friday, October 17, 2025, in blocks at the Expositur Rustenschacherallee 2 - 4, in the 2nd district. this cooperation enables the participating students to gain in-depth, practical and content-related experience in the practice of field recordings through an introduction to studio technology and audio editing and by means of the recording technology provided. The focus of the discussion is on both ethical and technical questions of miking, interviewing and recording techniques.
