In search of the smallest possible truth

Directly related to the requirements and topics of the central artistic subject in the field of stage and film design, the course teaches basic knowledge of model making: its characteristic forms and key importance as a medium of representation and communication in various areas of cultural creation.

Accompanied by an introduction into materials science, the main focus is on various techniques and attention to detail - always considering to formulate an independent artistic position.
Nevertheless, the respective semester projects are also supervised individually and on an ongoing basis.

Also planned: technical tours of theaters.

Continuous participation, construction of a scale model according to specifications.

According to the university statutes of June 2023,  attendance of at least 80vH is a requirement for a positive evaluation.
