2025W, Lecture with Practical Exercises (VU), 1.0 ECTS, 1.0 semester hours, course number S02877
Description
MODULE 3:
AFTER EFFECTS (and others) Creative Effects for Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography
MODULE 4:
2D TO MOTION - CAMERA TRACKING IN AE & 3D MOTION FROM 2D FILES
Module 3 content:
After Effects and other software (Blender) offer a multitude of possibilities for editing images that can also be used for non-moving content.
In Module 3, we will therefore look at various approaches beyond film and motion design. We will take a closer look at the effects options, how we can work non-destructively with content from Illustrator or Photoshop, and learn new ways to generate or alter images for graphic design, illustration, and photographic purposes.
Module 4 content:
We will learn simple ways of camera tracking in After Effects and how we can attach 2D images to various camera movements.
Single Point Tracker / Multiple Point Tracking
Tracking with Mocha
We will also take a look at the native 3D environment within AE.
