Description
Digital Circuit: a brief introduction to digital workflow.
Focal points are:
Process optimization strategies with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop;
System profiling from capture to output;
Exposure metering as the bas^is of an optimal digital negative;
Raw development; the basic understanding of working with digital negatives;
Exposure corrections, general color corrections and selective color adjustments, perspective and subject corrections with raw converters;
Interpolation techniques and final output-oriented sharpening routines;
Image archive, file management and data backup.
Students' own digital work as a starting point is required.
Photoshop time is life time! Therefore: As little as possible, as much as necessary!
Teaching language is german.
Examination Modalities
Active participation and ongoing review of learning progress - grading is therefore only possible if 4/5 of the dates are attended. There is ongoing evaluation of comprehension and knowledge during class.
Comments
The following order of precedence always applies to the allocation of numerically limited course places:
1. regular students of applied sciences who require a "Pflichtfach"certificate.
2. other regular students of applied sciences
3. extraordinary students of applied sciences
4. co-enrolled students from other universities
Applications will be ranked within the categories in the order in which they are received.
