Institute of Architecture , Digital Simulation
2025W, scientific seminar (SEW), 3.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S01833
Description
This seminar deals with the application of numerical simulation methods and the fundamental concepts on which they build. The focus lies on structural analysis and finite element calculations. After an introduction into the basic concepts of computer programming it will be shown how these can be used to write custom simulation code.
Examination Modalities
The examination at the end of the semester consists of handing in a progamming example.
