Description
In this lecture, the production of a handmade jacket is compared with the production of a rationally (industrially) manufactured jacket.
You will develop an understanding how to connect an underconstruction with the fabric to gain a 3 demensional form.
You will learn original techniques and their translation to industrial made suit jackets.
Technical tests are being made for the various processes. Differences in quality are being examined.
Examination Modalities
Personal presence is precondition for a positive certificate. An excuse via e-Mail is required if you can not take part.
Exercises and homework have to be delivered by the agreed date.
A portfolio with technical details and notes are to be made and presented at the end of the term

the Dates will be announced in the beginning of September
the attentance in the first lecture is obligatory.
On this day fundamental things will be explained for the making of the jackets.
