Exploring concepts of museum education (on-site visits to Viennese museums) relating to a construction kit hands-on exhibition
Go to the museum and just start playing, building, trying out, making something there that wouldn't be possible at home: is that possible? Or do you first have to register and book appropriate educational courses?
The concept of ‘playing in a museum’ will be explored in the block seminar, partly with on-site visits to Viennese museums.
We start with an exchange of experiences, then swarm out to test the education programme and finally come together again.
Examination Modalities
Submission requirements:
a concept for a self-directed gaming station, 8–10 pages, with references to existing/visited education concepts.
