Digital Branding
This course is an immersive dive into digital branding—how brands exist, communicate, and evolve in the digital space.
We examine how they create meaning, build relationships, and evolve in response to their environment. Digital branding is fluid, existing across platforms, interactions, and narratives, and this course is an opportunity to explore its possibilities.
We start by investigating how brands position themselves, how they communicate, and how they adapt. Each of us selects a brand—real or conceptual—and examines its presence, identifying opportunities for development. Along the way, we consider how branding can be designed with people at its core and what role digital humanism plays in shaping visual communication.
As we move from strategy to execution, we experiment with identity, motion, interaction, and user experience. Branding extends beyond static visuals into dynamic systems, where design, storytelling, and technology intersect.
The goal is to critically explore how digital branding can be more adaptable, intentional, and connected to the world it exists within. By the end, we will have developed digital branding concepts that are not only functional and visually compelling but also conceptually rigorous and responsive to contemporary digital culture.

The course is in English but feedback and discussions can be in German as well.
