The BA CDC Lab is the central study area in the CDS program, where cross-disciplinarity is practiced in both a research-based project and a scientific paper. Leaning on this year’s CDS research theme “Forecast,” the lab offers inputs, guest lectures, workshops, and individual mentoring. During the course of the semester/year, students have the possibility to work individually or collaboratively, discussing their progress with supervisors and guests.

Please be informed that a minimum attendance of 80% is required to successfully complete the lab and receive a grade. If anyone is unable to attend, I kindly ask you to inform me in advance.

Annual projects: Continuation from the winter term 2024/25
Semester project: New projects starting in the summer term 2025

Option A or B
Option A paper & project: Paper ~15.000 characters (excluding notes, bibliography, attachments)
Option B paper: Paper ~20.000 characters (excluding notes, bibliography, attachments)

Paper consisting of:
– Introduction with research question
– Research-positioning within cross-disciplinarity
– Main part: argument, case study analysis, literature review, application field, methodology
– Critical conclusion
