Registration for Storytelling 3 requires the successful completion of Storytelling 2.

Building on the basic knowledge of storytelling acquired in the previous semester, further techniques and concepts are deepened in order to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the art of fictional storytelling. The focus is on visual dramaturgy, staging, cinematography, sound design, colour grading and editing.

I have been working as a film editor for many years, in the areas of feature films, documentaries, both for TV and cinema, commercials and music videos.

In this semester, we will use several projects to develop a deeper understanding of the variety of narrative techniques and above all their effect on the viewer.

80% attendance. Creation of several projects.

Teaching and learning methods:

*Lectures with media support to show the variety of methods used in the field
*Practical experience through field trips to professional companies
*Joint development of project ideas
*Individual and group presentations of some self-created projects.

The course aims to provide the following skills and qualifications.

* Knowledge of the basics of the subject area
* The ability to critically analyse and discuss
* The ability to apply the narrative techniques learnt to other art forms.
