Description
This is an ongoing course which started in October 2024. In this introductory course we will explore the usage of interviews in different settings. We will learn methods such as journalistic interviewing, Oral History, podcasting and basic audio editing. Additionally we will have a look at how interviews can be exhibited and how and when Oral History or expert interviews are used as a method.
Student groups will produce their own interview, interview transcript, radio broadcast and audio installation based on recorded interviews.
Examination Modalities
Group work in form of a self-conducted interview and interview transcript and artistic/journalistic or scientific mini project based on this interview.
