Description

Weaponized Art: Algorithmic Tactics

This course explores how contemporary art can engage with AI and machine learning as both medium and method for deploying tactics within systems of control. We’ll examine how artists have used algorithmic tools to subvert, manipulate, and weaponize imagery, language, and influence. Emphasis will be placed on the tactical potential of synthetic media, automated processes, and data-driven aesthetics to intervene in political, cultural, and technological landscapes. Students will develop critical and practical strategies for navigating—and exploiting—the algorithmic conditions that shape our world.
