Description
In this seminar, the focus is on the body and voice as means of expression and as mediums for art mediation. Basic voice training will be provided: the carrying capacity of the voice will be enhanced, the body's conductivity as a resonance chamber will be explored, and communicative contact with others will be practiced. The exercises refine voice and body awareness, thus helping to establish connections with others. Confidence in one's vocal and physical presence will be strengthened.
Additionally, we will experiment with movement and action in space. We will search for knowledge that emerges from the intertwining of feeling-doing-reflecting, combined with analytical approaches to structured feedback methods. The aim is to sharpen approaches and conceptual questions for independently developed performative experiments.
The individual performative qualities of the participants will be deepened and expanded in the accompanying course "Artistic Project Work" this semester, in co-teaching with Peter Kozek (Seminar on Performance and Space).
Examination Modalities
Regular attendance and leading the group in one exercise learned during the seminar.
