In each of the 3 block events, one design-historical movement will be used as the subject of a multi-layered debate and will be researched and discussed using real products.   

The design historical/theoretical work subsequently forms the basis for the educational level. 

In the development and transfer of design teaching concepts for different age groups from the 5th to 12th grades (sec. 1/sec. 2), design is discussed as an educational factor. Design didactic methods and unconventional didactic approaches are also discussed, as are questions of performance assessment or the implementation of design topics as exam questions for a work-based Matura (practical/theoretical). Current questions are also addressed: 

Which work-specific processes and examination formats are suitable for the new guidelines within the framework of the reorganized pre-scientific work (VWA) in order to be recognized as part of the maturity examination? And in what form can/should these be supervised by teachers?

This multi-perspective examination on a practical and theoretical level, as a specialist discipline and as educational content, condenses the examination of the topic of design. The needs and suggestions of the students are part of the lv format and enable lively and diverse approaches.

In principle, attendance is mandatory. If you are absent due to illness, a certificate from a doctor must be presented. A minimum attendance of 80% is required to complete the course.
