The main focus is on the development and realization of an artistic project in the field of digital art. Media-specific basics are taught accompanying the projects. There will be a camera workshop and, if required, introductions/ deepenings of audio, video and image editing and generation.

The projects can be selected freely in terms of form and content. The input should lead to individual artistic projects and give the opportunity to try out digital formats for yourself or deepen your knowledge. Which tools, formats and methods do I choose and how do they affect the work?

We will watch and discuss reference projects according to the artistic processes of the students.

The course will be presented at the kick-off of the Department of Site-Specific Art on Thursday 6 March 2025 at Paulusplatz 5 in 1030 Vienna. All questions regarding the course can be discussed there.
