How to write about art, especially one`s own art? Whether for grant applications or as

poetic practice - how do we find a good approach to writing about or along our own work? This

semester, we'll start with a few queer-feminist foundational texts to look at examples of

artists writing, with a focus on collaborative publishing practices (Heresies, A Living

Archive, LTTR, Starship). We won't stick to theory only, but will use short exercises to

approach writing about our own artistic practice – to produce our own zine at the end of

the semester.
