The BA CDC Lab is the central subject for the CDS study programme, where cross-disciplinarity is developed. Along this years theme of CDS, which is ‚Forecast‘, inputs presented in the introductory phase by Julia Grillmeyer, (Science Diction, Fact, Forecast), Carsten Marr (Science and Technology), Yona Schreyer (An Atlas For Upending the World) and Gernot Waldner (Politics and Economics) students have the possibility to develop individual projects which will be discussed with supervisors and guests.

The BA CDC Lab is an open format and takes place in cooperation with lecturers and students of the department and dialogic discussions of the project presentations. Students should share regularly the development of their projects.

Components are: Individual working in the space, reflecting in a group; working with theory (text) as well as practice (the media or manual implementation). The focus is on promoting individual interests as well as joint exhibition visits, guest lectures and excursions.
