Welcome to LOSIIA - the Lab for Open Source Intelligence and Investigative Arts!

In this seminar, students will explore LOSIIA, our Research Lab which focuses on the use of cutting-edge research software to analyze social media and internet data. The lab provides hands-on experience with OSINT & AI tools and methodologies, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of how digital information is gathered, verified, and interpreted. By investigating real-world case studies, students will learn how internet research can uncover patterns in online behavior, track digital footprints, and critically engage with the ethics and challenges of working with publicly available data. This seminar equips students with essential skills for navigating the complexities of internet-based research, and we want to lay the foundations for investigative art.
