Beschreibung

Coding as a tool in data driven projects

This class aims to teach students the basics of coding with Python and how to use it as a tool in data driven projects.

The course is designed for beginners with little or no programming experience. It requires only an interest in using code in a project or the wish to know more about what it means to code; no prior knowledge is necessary. The course is not suitable for those looking to deepen their programming skills.

Students will also evaluate the use of AI tools for coding.

The follow-up to this course is the summer semester course 2025S/S05122 which builds on this knowledge and introduces data analysis concepts to enable students to analyze and visualize data in scientific or artistics projects.
