In the last four years, this course has engaged with various formats: publication, lectures, exhibitions making, and performance. 

The focus of this year - Winter and Summer Semester - is on working with and through film in relation to questions of self-representation, agency, and public visibility, at the intersection of the individual memory and the collective history. 

During the Winter Semester, the group will engage with various filmic practices and will engage in dialogue with guests filmmakers and artists working with film and video

The goal is to deepening knowledge and to experimenting with the various strategies that can be developed and implemented with and through moving image as an artistic practice.

The Summer Semester will be devoted to production of a film exhibition bringing together works by guests and productions of the students.

• to introduce and support students with the production of artistic strategies with and through film and video
• to develop knowledge on filmic practices at the intersection with social and historical dynamics
• to foster critical thinking, self-critical thinking, and communication skills

• to introduce, encourage, and develop collective practices

Attendance is limited to 10 students. This course is designed for MA Students.

Attendance at all sessions is required.
