How do I describe the image in my head in movie script format? Trained in the fine arts, we approach the medium of film. The first step in this direction is writing for the camera.

The seminar covers three main areas. Firstly, we explore the fundamentals of screenwriting, including storytelling techniques, idea development, writing loglines, step outlines, and treatments. We also delve into the importance of beats in a story, in a scene, and in the script formatting. Secondly, we engage in practical exercises to write and develop our own projects. This includes honing our pitching skills, mastering the art of verbally presenting our projects convincingly. Lastly, we draw inspiration from the analysis of film examples and screenplays. The connection to the fine arts is emphasized, enhancing our viewing experience and understanding of the craft.
