Description

In this course, we will take an in-depth look at various aspects of light and lighting.

On a theoretical but mostly practical level, we will cover topics such as combining natural light with flash and continuous light, high-speed synchronization, parabolic light shapers, freezing motion, faking sunlight, grip and tripod knowledge, lighting analysis, etc.

A basic knowledge of photographic techniques is required for participation in this course.

Examination Modalities

Course-immanent. 80% attendance and final examination interview.

Comments

Due to the limited number of workstations and equipment, the course is primarily intended for students of the Department of Applied Photography and Time-Based Media.
