Beschreibung

In this course designed for forward-thinking digital art students, we embark on a journey where we redefine the boundaries of where and how art can exist and impact our world. Our process starts with your creative core and extends into developing this into compelling projects. These projects venture beyond traditional art galleries into diverse application fields. Our philosophy is that artistic endeavors, originating from an individual's creative core, are not confined to traditional displays, but serve as the foundation for a multitude of innovative output channels.

Course Objectives:

  • Expand Artistic Horizons: Break free from conventional art exhibitions and galleries to explore how digital art can thrive in unexpected domains such as digital consumer products, B2B SaaS platforms, and cutting-edge blockchain projects.
  • Redefine Artistic Output: Discover how your digital creations can transcend traditional formats, influencing and integrating within various sectors of technology, business, and society.
  • Explore New Organisational Forms: Learn about the potential of modern organizational structures, including companies and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), as vehicles for your artistic expression and career.
  • Envision Art as a Business: Shift perspective from selling artwork to developing business cases that leverage your artistic core, exploring profitability, scalability, and impact in the digital age.
  • Prototype and Pitch: Through a series of pressure cooker-style workshops from April 10-14, transform your ideas into tangible outputs ready for a demo day, aiming to secure funding for project realization.

Course Structure:

Scheduled for April 10-14

  • Day 1: Ideation and Exploration - Dive into the world of digital art possibilities. Workshops on current digital trends, including blockchain and DAOs, will inspire your project concepts.
  • Day 2: Artistic Development and Business Modeling - Develop your artistic ideas with digital tools and explore business models that could support your art. Engage in sessions on creating value and impact beyond traditional art sales.
  • Day 3: Organizational Forms and Strategy - Explore how different organizational structures can be leveraged for your projects. Learn about startups, corporations, and DAOs as platforms for digital art.
  • Day 4: Prototyping and Presentation Skills - Convert your concepts into prototypes with the guidance of mentors. Sharpen your pitching skills in preparation for the demo day.
  • Demo Day: Present your projects to a panel of potential investors, aiming to transform your digital art ventures into funded realities.

This course is perfect for digital art students who are eager to explore beyond the canvas, interested in the intersection of art and technology, and motivated to create impactful, innovative projects. If you're ready to challenge the traditional art market and envision your work in dynamic, modern contexts, join us for a journey of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
