Description
In this workshop, we will approach the practice of field recording as an artistic research method in a critical way and explore alternative means of working with sound in field research, such as live audio transmission and writing-as-recording.

The lecture is part of the ÆSR Lab - Applied/Experimental Sound Research Laboratory. ÆSR Lab is a cooperation project of the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Zentrum Fokus Forschung) and the Artistic Research Center (ARC), the Institute for Composition, Electroacoustics and Tonmeister:innen Training (IKE) of the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Phonogrammarchiv (PhA) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
