The course is open to students in “Global Challenges + Sustainable Developments” in their 4th semesters.

Students work on the preparation (resp. finalization) of their master thesis projects with free and flexible work schedules, and in close cooperation with their Angewandte (and Tongji) supervisors.

Examination and grading are based on a meeting between each student, their Angewandte supervisor, and the head of the course, which results in an agreement on the successful work progess of the master thesis project, at the end of the semester.

(For Angewandte enrolled students, additionally, the special outlines for GCSD students, formulated by the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs and Development from June 16th, 2023, are applicable.)

Requirement for course participation is that student's official thesis supervisor must be identified and that this information has been accepted by the program manager.
