This seminar will explore the integration of architectural and structural design using case studies (built examples). Students will be working in groups. In the first part, you will be studying structural, construction, architectural and conextual aspects based one of the case studies. In the second part you will be looking critically at how the structural/architectural integration could have been resolved in different ways and how potentially different approaches or material solutions could have led to different end results.

Participation in the introductory session is required for course participation.

Oral exam, presentation of analysis project, attendance and active participation in the seminar. Midterm and final jury review with presentation and electronic submission
