in each of the 3 block events, one design-historical trend is taken as the content of a multi-layered examination and researched and discussed using real products.

 

what educational values ​​and content can be conveyed through design?

the study of design history/theory subsequently forms the basis for the mediation level.

in the development and transfer of design teaching concepts for different age groups from the 5th to the 12th school level (secondary school 1/secondary school 2), design is discussed as an educational factor. design didactic methods and unconventional didactic approaches are also discussed, such as questions of performance assessment or the implementation of design topics as examination questions for a vocational school leaving certificate (practical/theoretical). the following questions will also be addressed:

Which practical and theoretical competence factors can/should/must be taken up in future work curricula of SEK 2 in the design department and at what level of performance can students be led up to the matriculation examination (Matura)?

how can/should/must practical and theoretical questions for the matriculation examinations be formulated and an expectation profile created?

this multi-perspective examination on a practical and theoretical level, as a specialist discipline and as educational content, intensifies the examination of the subject area of ​​design.

The needs and suggestions of the students are part of the course format and enable lively and divergent approaches.

Examination Modalities

diploma:

Submission of a written/practical work by June 30, 2024, July 31, 2024 or August 31, 2024.

 

presence:

In principle, attendance is compulsory. if you are absent due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted.

a minimum attendance of 80% is required for the completion of the course.
