Wolfgang Neipl
Design, Video Studio
2024S, artistic Seminar (SEK), 2.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S03505
Description
Artistic film practice
Technically, the camera takes the pictures.
But "film photography" is different from "still photography".
What "creative controls" are available to the artists? "Rules" can be safe tools or deliberately broken. Artistic techniques are excellent sources of inspiration. Whether experimental or conventional, every filmmaker should know about them in order to find suitable settings and (also) conceptual resolutions for a project.
And how do I record good film sound?
Understand and be able to apply: Camera Angle, Framing, Eye-Line, Composition Techniques, Techniques of Perspective, Camera Techniques, Techniques of Movement, Editing Techniques, etc.
EXAMPLE (Student work) pw: example
Directly after this course, there is the opportunity to take part in the filming of a joint project (teamwork) on a current topic in "Cinelook".
Examination Modalities
The evaluation takes place continuously during the course. In each session, a small task is set for relevant content, which the students carry out until the next meeting.
Comments
