Designing an app interface for self-determined communication
People suffering from communication disabilities often face challenges when it comes to conversations with people in the health sector, eg doctors.
During the HCI course, students design an app prototype that helps people communicate with doctors, seeking a fresh and playful approach to interface design.
Every student develops a digital prototype that reflects this problem. Students can work with a prototyping tool of choice they are familiar with. During the course, we invite experts from the health sector who are familiar with the challenges and special needs and heterogeneity of the target group.
