Focus is on facade connections of resource-optimized and cycle-compatible design. Prominent architectural examples (both solid and lightweight construction) will be shown in the seminar. Followed by elaboration of details for an actual studio project.

The seminar consists of 2 parts:

1) Lectures

2) Apply the acquired knowledge to your own studio project.

Certificates for Building Construction B (S01983) are granted for successful presentation and documentation of the project.

Expert talk (10 minutes) on the 25th of June: student presents the building construction aspects of his/her project (presentation of group projects is possible as well) and answers questions. Please note if there has not been a presentation until the end of september, the course has to be taken again a year later.

Due to the size of the room, the course is limited to a maximum of 15 students.
