In this four-part workshop, we will take a walk through the world of AI & machine learning. In a very hands-on manner, we will work on:

- The basics of AI/ML, potential applications, and how it can be used without lots of coding

- Creating a corpus of training data for a particular problem

- Artistic uses of ML (generative algorithms for text/image/sound generation)

- Reflecting the societal impact of widespread deployment of AI systems

- Presence during the classes

- Small homework assignments

- Final project, in groups

Basic knowledge in a programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is recommended but not strictly required.
