Description
Small projects are used to teach printing on natural fibers with fibre-affinity dyes, reactive and acid dyes.
Preparation of printing pastes for silk and wool prints, printing on cotton, velveteen and linen, as well as fabric painting.
Print, paint
Fix and wash out.
Examination Modalities
The creative implementation is assessed based on the previous examination of the existing technical possibilities, as well as the commitment to the implementation.
Finally, a digital image of the project with the associated documentation must be sent as a PDF to ute.huber-leierer@uni-ak.ac.at
Comments
The course will be held in blocks.
It is aimed at students who have already screen printed and are familiar with the technology.
