To what extent does the motif of cartography in the context of digital tools shape technology, design and other disciplines of today and tomorrow?

 

Overarching research question: How do we connect landscape with school?

 

The aim is to explore the close environment of a school and to evaluate opportunities and possibilities for creative collaborations or projects that will be part of the Erasmus+ programme Edulands.

 

In the process, a digital work with interdisciplinary mediation potential will be created. The seminar is also part of the basic digital competences that can be acquired as part of the DEX studies.

The starting point for this course is the participating students' own creative activity. This is to be translated into an art didactic mediation idea for the subject of art and design / textile & technical work. These developed concepts are presented and discussed by the participants in the group and a scientific proseminar paper is written on them.

 

Examination modalities

 

Consistent attendance (maximum two excused absences), active participation in the course and timely completion of the assignments.
Absences due to illness must be announced prior to the absence. If there are more than 2 absences, the course must be repeated or, in exceptional cases, supplemented by selected and documented courses from the Bits and Bites experimental laboratory. An additional absence can be worked in during the Technology Design Mediation Symposium on 14.11.
Presentation of an own artistic work and its translation into a teaching concept.
Timely submission of an art-didactic-scientific proseminar paper of approximately 25,000-32,000 characters (body text only, including spaces, excluding appendices) according to the specifications of the Centre for Didactics of Art and Interdisciplinary Teaching. The basics of academic writing are required. These deadlines must be met:
1st deadline: 31 January 2023
2nd deadline: 28 February 2023
3rd deadline: 31 March 2023

The prerequisite for participation is the completion of the course Introduction to Subject Didactics.

The course is to be completed at the same time as the orientation internship (OP) and the supervision OP.
