Sound & media intervention in public spaces

The course deals with temporary sound and interactive installations in public spaces.

Working with sound and electronic media in public poses particular conceptual and technical challenges.
The use of electronics and sensors outdoors, mobile/autonomous power supply and control as well as site-specific framework conditions are taught in hands-on sessions.

After an introduction to working with Raspberry Pi and Python, we go out into the city to test a temporary implementation of the ideas that have arisen.

Existing own projects can also be further developed in the workshop for public spaces.
