This new PEEK project will start in September 2023, with the Angewandte Performance Lab as research facility. It is positioned at the intersection of geo-humanities and arts-based research with an emphasis on performance practice and theory, environmental philosophy, somatic encountering and future scenario building. Students will be introduced in specific methods of artistic research related to this research project. In alliance with the sciences in particular artists are said to be able to produce innovative solution models for the future of an ecologically, politically and economically shaken world community. This is based on the thesis that applicable future prognoses only become possible through a holistic and critical perception of the precarious present.­
