Critical discourse and practical application of artificial intelligence (AI), brain waves and polygraphs (lie detector) to design repeats and patterns.

Microscopy: use of digital microscopes to generate repeats, ornaments, patterns, etc....

Excursion to the Institute of Textile Technology at Salzgries as part of the course.

Special attention will be given in this seminar to both the application for the student's own artistic practice and for the use of digital skills in the classroom.
