Description

The examination of moved images and the practical application of the media video as an artistic expression are central aspects of the course. Examples of contemporary video works in the visual arts are shown and own artistic themes are found. The interplay of video and other artistic media will be discussed and implemented. The main aspects of this seminar are the discussion of own approaches and their possible realization. A previous knowledge in technical realization is beneficial but not a prerequisite. Rather, the aim is to work on content-related ideas with courage and joy in experimentation. The joint exploration of possibilities and modes of expression will be possible in individual discussions as well as in group meetings.
