Applied Filmmaking I covers the technical basics of photographic shooting with a focus on the moving image including post-production. Specific photographic production activities are introduced ans a introduction for working with equipment of the departement is included. 

The course is required for using equipment of the departement Applied Photography and Time-based Media independently.

We record  e.g. with the Nikon D810, Black Magic, Panasonic AX, Theta 360 V and our own equipment, check the signature of our own equipment and the workflow up to post-production. Basics of filming with a travelling camera, with the possibilities of the department's equipment, including synchronous sound recording.  Linked to the theme in the Central Artistic Subject, there will take place a workshop "Working on Street". 

Applied Project. 80% attendance is mandatory & written test.

Applied Filmmaking I  is recommendend  for freshmen. Due to a limited number of workstations and equipment, students in the Department of Applied Photography and Time-based Media are given priority when registering for this seminar.

Class is taught mainly  in German, but we will switch to english if needed.
