The central artistic subject (ZKF) is the basis of art education. In this class, students develop their individual artistic identity and investigate their potential and mindset as young artists. Through group discussions and individual mentoring sessions with Prof. Judith Eisler and the department staff, students learn to analyze and communicate the fundamentals of their practice.
The ZKF I includes the following seminars:
Tuesdays 13:30-15:30 Drawing Workshop (ZKF)
Wednesdays 11-14:00 Animation Film (LV)
Wednesdays 14-15:30 Painting Techniques (LV)
Thursdays 10-12:00 Painting Workshop (ZKF)
Thursdays 15-17:00 Composition Workshop (ZKF)
Fridays 11-12:30 Group Crits (ZKF)

Additional activities involve excursions, artist talks, exhibition projects and class meetings (via Zoom if necessary)
Attendance, one-on-one talks about current work (at least once per semester with Prof. Judith Eisler and an assistant), portfolio submission at the end of the semester.
