Description
Program features: basics, navigation and presets, file formats, color management, color modes, fill methods, tools, brush tips, selection methods, alpha channels, quick mask mode, layers, adjustment layers, shapes, paths, tone value correction, color correction, transform, filters.
Digital image editing basics: selection, cropping, retouching, composing, tonal values, color values, image resolution and print resolution.
Pro tips: DTP workflow, PDF workflow, print workflow, color management, RGB and CMYK.
Examination Modalities
Compulsory attendance as a basis for evaluation. The examination takes place during the workshop in the form of a time-limited image processing task.
Comments
The three workshops offered, Photoshop Basics A, B, and C, are identical. Good Mac OS or Windows skills are assumed. Start times, on time.
In principle, co-occupants may also participate in the workshop. Current co-occupancy status required. The workshop will be held in German. Participants will have access to an English-language script.
