The aim of the format "Experimentation Lab: Bits and Bites" (WAHLFACH) is to enable all students of the Angewandte to visit different areas of interest brought in by students and lecturers in individual, self-contained lectures, excursions and workshops.

This semester, art didacticians, pedagogues, experts from the Austrian educational landscape and international guests will contribute their expertise on questions of art and design didactics and their framework conditions. There are 2 dates for this.

Students are welcome to suggest content and speakers for future "Bits and Bites" at any time.

In the framework of Angewandte Festival, Design Symposium, University of Applied Arts Vienna, full day

A digital attendance list is kept. The appointments can also be attended over several semesters. The certificate can be obtained by 7 attended appointments as well as a written reflection on these units (max. 7 A4 pages in total).

The reflection must contain the student's own intellectual examination of the subject matter of the lecture and be critically related to the lecture and the discussion. A mere reproduction of what was heard is not accepted as a reflection. The reflection must also be submitted in an appealing and consistent form.
