Collaborative Constellations focuses on practices that emphasize co-creation, unlearning, interdependency, care and empathy as effective strategies of political and artistic resistance— and resilience. The course looks at different self-organized initiatives, collaborative art practices and will engage in activities that build towards communal teaching and learning as a decolonial approach.

Collaborative Constellations questions the myth of the “individual” through a peer-to-peer learning environment that clarifies notions of collectivity through practice. This course builds on the syllabus from WS 2022-23.

Please note that Introduction to Artistic Strategies (Theory) with Stephanie Misa and Introduction to Artistic Strategies (Practice) with Mika Maruyama are a co-taught class for 4 ECTS credits. Please register for both classes.

Grades are based on 30% Attendance, 40% Engagement (in discussion) and 30% Projects and fulfillment over the semester.
